This morning we were running late which was partly due to Lachlan swinging past Lidl to pick up an Empire biscuit.

We managed to find a car park near Emma and we all made our way over to the Riverside Museum. Lachlan was, unfortunately, unable to bring “Mooo” who needed a wash after yesterday’s adventures, he was eyeing off Emma’s dog from the get-go.

This weekend outside the Riverside Museum was Diggers & Tippers weekend. There are always constant road works in Glasgow as the city has what appears to be an infinite number of potholes to fix. Lachlan always enjoys pointing out the diggers so we thought he would enjoy being up close to them.

After a bit of a wait, where the kids were patiently watching the questionable disco chicken dance, it was then their turn to hop into the wee digger.

There was a decent collection of diggers, trucks, and fire engines for the kids to play in.

Afterward we ventured into the Riverside Museum as there was another market on and we are still looking for more goodies to bring home with us.

The kids took this opportunity to dart around the terrific museum, climbing into the vehicles.

It had been a while since we had paid a visit to the Tall Ship and the kids were in great spirits so we had to check it out. Lachlan, who had been walking Emma’s dog around for quite a while now had a predicament as it was tricky for the dog to board the ship, he is persistent though and they worked it out.

The girls had picked up a map at the entrance and were busy searching the ship for all the toy rats to the checkoff. Lachlan kept wandering about tripping people over with the dog.

After a lot of fun, running around the ship, Lachlan remembered he still had his empire biscuit and smashed it before we headed off.

At night when Super Mum was at Bounce Back to Netball, the blog fairies set about updating the Happy snaps and Watch us grow pages. Lachlan is now a couple of months older than Eloise when the family set off on this wild ride.
