After a terrific day on the road for King Lachlan’s Coronation Parade, the power had gone to the King’s head as he started Tuesday spear-tackling Big Sister. Eloise is still trying to work out the best way to handle Lachlan when he ignores her stern direction, she is usually quite patient with him.

Lachlan was getting a taste of nursery as we waited for Eloise in the afternoon. He would sneak in if he was given the chance.

Eloise quickly scoffed down a Nutella sandwich and was off to dance. She was so tired after we overdid it again on the weekend.

Lachlan is a pro in the library, he loves to grab his pile of books as he struggles to carry them with his library card up to the counter.
We are not sure how, Lachlan still had plenty in the tank as he refused to get off the upstairs stage. He is pretty fast now.

We got home with plenty of sunlight remaining, it still felt like midday. Lachlan was pulling out all of his new birthday toys.

Lachlan was standing at the dinner table, a slight improvement from him usually eating on the run. Ohhh whoops, talked too soon, he had other ideas.

He is always good for a laugh Lachlan, he is also now great at jumping as he completed his pre-bed routine.
On Wednesday, Lachlan had stepped it up a couple of levels with his beloved dino track. His first words of the morning are “track, track, dino track” as he attempts to convince us to leave our warm bed and go downstairs with him at 05:50 each morning.
In the afternoon, “Daddies bike, Daddies bike, DADDDDIIEEESSSS BIKE!” Were the words, it must have been time to pick up “Sista”.

With summer just around the corner, Lachlan’s love for cycling is peaking at the right time. Each evening he insists on “Sista’s bike”.

After Lachlan had pulled all the tricks out at the dinner table Tuesday night, we finally successfully managed to get Lachlan to sit at the dinner table for the majority of the meal.

The kids had been so good we let them roast a few marshmallows before bed. Lachlan still prefers to eat them raw, perhaps he just is not patient enough to roast them. He still prefers to eat it off the stick to ensure he matches Eloise.

Thursday morning, the kids had managed to sleep in past 05:50, hooray, although it was busy on Super Mum’s side of the bed.

After lunch, Super Mum pumped out some tartan leggings for Eloise. Eloise had requested three-quarter length as it is heating up and does not like it when Super Mum overdresses her. Not a kilt yet, but getting closer.

Once Dad was home from work in the afternoon, Lachlan did not let him sit down and it was straight back out the door again.

In the evening, Super Mum told Eloise she can have three more marshmallows because she is three years old. Eloise quickly shot back that she is actually three and a half and should get four marshmallows before she ended up quickly scoffing down five.

Friday morning, the Legacy Centenary Torch had made it to Adelaide and was still going strong.

Lachlan was trying his best to kick-start the day and needed to get out of the house. Luckily Emma was free for Friday Hoolies.

It was just one of those days that nothing was going to stop Lachlan, the sun was out and we successfully made the two hour trek into town.

In exciting Scottish news “IRN Bru have revealed two new crazy flavours for summer but fans of the ginger drink are divided. The fizzy juice giant launched their limited edition Tropical and Ice Cream flavoured edition Irn-Bru Xtra option as a new treat for the summertime”. What a time to be alive. Let’s hope we can get our hands on some next week. We do love their original advert, you might recognize a few spots.
