The week for Sophie and the kids involved most of the usual shenanigans. Cuddles on the couch, Lachie’s Book Bug, sticking hands in the peanut butter jar, Gymboree and feeding the ducks (including scary swans) at the local loch. Believe it or not, they even managed the odd sleep in.

Liam tried some haggis crisps, they were pretty good. Sophie and Eloise were not convinced.

Thursday night we caught up with some Radelaide friends. They passed on a couple of boxes of goodies kindly left behind from previous secondees.

Sophie and the kids headed off to their first Sweaty Mama class. It was an exercise class with plenty of squats and lunges while babies were hanging off each hip. Lachlan was loving the attention and getting whizzed about. Eloise patiently watched on while eating her snacks, jumping on Super Mum when she least expected it.

In the afternoon Liam finished work just before our air freight arrived. After a couple of weeks in the house, everything had finally found a home. Looks like we are back to square one.

Eloise was asleep and missed all the action but when she woke up she was in toy heaven. The moment she laid eyes on her two dolls there was a loving embrace. Later in the afternoon she tried to put them both to sleep.

Now that the second half of the Batmobile had arrived to Gotham City, we went for a stroll. Eloise loves how she can now climb up into the Batmobile. Of course, the two dolls “babies” had to come along for the journey.

Dinner was slightly delayed because Eloise found her beloved tea set “Dad out”, once unpacked she was quick to start pouring us all drinks.
Meanwhile, Lachlan was loving his new baby bouncer.

A quick dinner, baths and finally some different books, Eloise climbed into a packed bed. Liam was able to creep out quickly tonight, as Eloise was focused on putting her babies to sleep too.
