A quick petrol top-up before jumping on the M1. There did not seem to be any supply issues in Cambridge, a few long lines though. Probably one charge away from having enough range to get home. But not just yet, one more stopover.

The plan was to head to Sundown Adventureland the “Theme Park For The Under 10’s”, but the weather was foul so we pushed on until we arrived in Leeds. The Kirkgate Markets had a lot of options for lunch, Lachlan was starving.

Leeds Kirkgate Market is the largest covered market in Europe [/UK]. There are currently 800 stalls which attract over 100,000 visitors a week.

We then walked around the city to see what Leeds had to offer. It was a mistake not putting Eloise in her wellies, not that it stopped her splashing about.

Inside the Leeds City Museum, Elosie helped to rebuild the city, once she found her wheelbarrow of choice.

Football is a big part of Leeds culture. The city was buzzing as Leeds United took on The Cycling GK this afternoon at Elland Road, winning 1-0.

It was then a short drive to Travelodge Leeds Morley. Eloise is becoming a travelling pro, very quick to redefine “home”.

It was then time for ribs.

The clocks have gone forward an hour in Adelaide tonight and next month the clocks go backwards an hour in Glasgow. Ahhh those 06:00 meetings will become 04:00, although I am sure they will slide an hour. Seeing as Eloise and Lachlan live in a time zone closer to Mauritius (GMT+4), it might actually make calling home easier.
We loved Leeds when we were there back when Louise did an exchange through uni!! Despite the wet weather, looks like you all are having a great time!
